For an idyllic, convenient, quiet and comfortable holiday, enjoy this spacious home on a landscaped half-acre is this unique property in Mullumbimby that boasts panoramic views of iconic Mt Chincogan and Mt Warning, whilst providing ornamental and food gardens, a glorious large fresh water swimming pool with built in spa jets, privacy and peace while only a few minutes from the town centre.
This architecturally-designed home contains 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, plus an outdoor shower, indoor and outdoor spas, a modern well-equipped kitchen, wifi, and two huge covered verandas that flow directly from the central cathedral ceiling living room, which insure your wet or dry weather comfort and access to the picture-book views. Adobe walls surround the swimming pool and central part of the property so that total privacy is achieved in this veritable indoor/outdoor resort-style accommodation.
The spacious master bedroom is truly awesome with its large retractable floor to ceiling glass doors, invisibly screened so that you feel like you are floating above the tree tops as the birds fly by while enjoying breathtaking views (and yes the sex is better here). The attached master bathroom has dual showers, a very generous spa bath, and bamboo hedge view that enhances this home's tropical indoor/outdoor feel while providing absolute privacy.
The wonderful 2nd bedroom is a delightful two-story suite with upstairs bedroom and downstairs lounge, walk-in closet, private bathroom, additional sleeping options, direct access to verandas and swimming pool, and when desired real privacy from the rest of the house.
The 3rd bedroom opens onto another lovely view, is accessed via the covered veranda, has it's own ensuite bathroom, and again offers as much privacy as desired.
The 4th bedroom is also accessed via the covered veranda, and is great for kids or another couple sharing the house.
The thriving town of Mullumbimby has an array of local shops, a weekly Friday farmer's market, a monthly Saturday market, terrific cafes- from French bistro to authentic Japanese sushi to vegetarian and Asian fusion to just about everything, two pubs with regular entertainment and great menus, theatres and halls filled with national and international events, even a top circus school, major festivals including the Mullum Music Festival plus is within 10 minutes to huge international events (The Blues Festival, Splendour in the Grass, Fall Festival) and a wonderful and friendly community. It's traffic free, only 10 minutes to Brunswick Heads beaches and 15 minutes to Byron Bay, about 35 minutes to the Gold Coast International Airport and Ballina Airport. The nearest private airport is Tyagarah Airfield less than 10 minutes away.
This is Mullumbimby at it's best, hinterland amenities - privacy, rural aspects and incredible views. Minutes to town, close to uncrowded beaches and free from the hassle of Byron traffic & cues at the super markets but close enough to enjoy the beaches, shops, night life, and all it has to offer whenever you feel to make the drive in.
